DIRECTOR and OWNER
Serge is the Director and owner of Compressed Air Centre since September 2017. He is a physicist by education and has a broad business experience having worked in strategy consultancy and financial services. He is involved in several businesses as executive and non-executive director.
In his free time, and in no particular order, Serge loves to spend time with his family, read, keep cross-fit, practice krav maga and dance salsa.
DIRECTOR
Mavis joined CAC as Director in 2019 after an HR career spanning 20 years gained in the highly compliant banking sector, where she operated at a strategic level, whilst also delivering operational HR. Alongside Serge, her role is to run CAC in accordance with all legal and best practice requirements.
Mavis has a lot of “loves”, like travelling, spending time with family and friends (preferably in a nice restaurant with a delicious glass of wine) a good movie, running, yoga and gardening.
SERVICE MANAGER
Kim has served for 28 years with us as Service Manager. You name it, she is responsible for it. She works closely with Serge in maintaining good customer relationships and the general day to day running of the company.
Believe it or not she is a bit of a biker chick and at the weekends her and her husband can be found riding here, there and everywhere on their Triumph Thunderbird. She is also the proud owner of Shep, the company mascot.
SERVICE COORDINATOR
Debbie has recently joined the service department, helping Kim and Loki to keep the engineers in check and plan all our service work. Having recently returned to the UK after over 20 years in the Caribbean she has spent most of her career in the travel industry, dealing with challenging client facing roles. She is now settling back to life in the UK, enjoying the structure, work ethic and friendship we have to offer. However, she is not so keen on the weather!
Debbie loves dogs and has made a good impression on Loki (a must if you are going to work here)! She also likes to cook, read and of course, travel.
SENIOR SERVICE ENGINEER
Colin is the longest serving member of staff having been with us since the company started 30 years ago. As Senior Engineer he responds to the majority of our breakdown calls and is our technical geek.
In his spare time he is a very keen rambler, photographer, fisherman and all round computer techie.
SERVICE ENGINEER
Lynton has joined the company from an illustrious career in the Compressed Air and Gas Generation industry. He is a very experienced engineer and is hot on the tail of Colin for position of Kim’s favourite engineer (don’t tell Colin but he’s got it already).
When he is not working, he enjoys motorbikes and everything automotive. He is a family man and does enjoy a holiday or two.
SERVICE ENGINEER
Steve joined the company with a background of mechanical engineering and machine building, which has enabled him to become a very accomplished service engineer in a short space of time.
He is a family man and in his spare time he likes to get out and about with his partner and young son. He is most definitely the joker of the pack and likes to tease us rotten. He wishes he could be a professional comedian and sometimes we do too... No, just kidding, he is a very valued member of the team.
SERVICE ENGINEER
Danni is our newest recruit, joining us in August 2022 and is a big asset. She is a very experienced engineer with 15 years experience in the Compressed Air industry. Before, that she was a fully qualified carpenter.
In her spare time, she enjoys lots of different sports including football, basketball, and racing. She is an avid Xbox player and can’t be beaten on any of the racing games. If that isn’t enough, she enjoys long drives in the countryside, with her music blaring and has just discovered the world of Tik-Tok and the fun of creating videos……. One can only imagine!
PRODUCTS & TECHNICAL SPECIALIST
Rob has been with us since 2004 and is our Products & Technical Specialist. He fulfills the majority of our purchasing and is also responsible for the store and our Trade Counter. Rob specialises in all types of compressed air fittings and hose.
He is a man of many talents and when he is not at work he is a very accomplished singer and badminton player, playing in various Surrey leagues.
SALES MANAGER
Peter is leading and managing the sales function and team and presenting and selling the complete range of products to existing and new clients throughout our geographical territory.
When he’s not doing this he enjoys spending time with his family, the odd round of golf and having a kick about with a football.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Peter comes to us with over 20 years’ experience in the Compressed Air Industry. Originally from South Africa, he learnt his trade in his father’s business. He specialises in new equipment installations, which include his keen interest in nitrogen generation and energy audits.
Peter is a family man at heart, who enjoys playing football with his son, whilst running dad’s cab service for his very successful daughter who swims at county level. Apparently, he is also a wizard at the barbeque but we are yet to confirm if this is the case.
SALES ADMINISTRATOR
Lynn has recently joined us as sales administrator and has her work cut out, assisting the sales manager and business development manager in their day to day duties. She is super-efficient and methodical, so that should shake them up a bit!
In her spare time, Lynn is a bee-keeper and keeps us supplied with fresh honeycomb and honey. She often walks into work and is planning to cycle in the summer months.
Lynn previously worked in the wine and sherry industry….shame she can’t keep us supplied with that too.
MAINTENANCE
Karen is our domestic goddess and as her name suggests, really is too good to be true. She has been looking after us and keeping our offices clean for the last 27 years! She really does deserve a medal!
Now our Karen loves her holidays with her husband and the odd cocktail or three!
With an unrivalled passion for his role and a striking can-do attitude, Loki is by far the hardest working and enthusiastic member of the team.
Protecting us from harm on a daily basis and keeping the floor free of any dangerous food crumbs. Bring him a treat and you’ll be friends for life.
When he’s not working, he enjoys playing football, very long walks in the Surrey Hills and cuddling up to his humans on the sofa.
